Rahul Gandhi - BJP's Dark Horse

Anti-corruption was a major plank of BJP's 2014 election pitch. It suited BJP's election agenda to speak openly against Congress scams. The strong anti-Congress sentiment due to 55 years of misrule also helped BJP to achieve record victories in 2014 and 2019.

Modi's rise to centre-stage increased hopes of nationalists that finally justice will be delivered. The suffering of common Indians will be redeemed and a new age will begin. Unfortunately it was not to be so ..

The party seems least bothered about bringing back black money stashed abroad. On corruption, it has not taken any definitive action against frauds perpetrated during the UPA era. In fact, the BJP government is exhibiting a high degree of indifference towards Congress scams. This particular attitude of the party is baffling to say the least, however, it does have a reason.

Easy picking that BJP has missed

In 2015, on Dr Swamy's complaint about Rahul Gandhi's British citizenship, parliament's ethics committee was ordered to investigate the matter. The ethics committee, headed by LK Advani, sought Rahul's response on the citizenship issue, however, his reply was ambiguous.

The ethics committee didn't take any action beyond this and comfortably sat on the issue. In 2017, Dr Swamy filed a written complaint on the same issue with MHA (then under Rajnath Singh). Despite the complaint, BJP’s response on the issue has been slack.

Dr Swamy's written complaint consists of documentary evidence that proves Rahul Gandhi as a British citizen. As per Article 9 of the constitution, dual citizenship holders are not permitted to hold a public office and therefore, Rahul Gandhi's LS membership can be easily revoked. Nonetheless, he continues to be an LS member.

For corruption cases, BJP government hides its ‘INTENT’ under the garb of existing challenges in the judicial system. However, in Rahul Gandhi's citizenship case, BJP has lost face because the concerned issue doesn’t require judicial intervention. BJP is least bothered about the citizenship row, rather it is happy if Rahul Gandhi is the opposition. Why?

The answer is simple:

Rahul Gandhi, as opposition, trivializes any form of credible criticism of the government. His mere presence helps BJP to escape responsibility for its actions. This is a win-win situation for BJP because it will facilitate Modi to rule for 10-15 years without accountability. However, it's a ‘Raw Deal’ for common people because they have to bear the burden of BJP’s mediocre performance.

Dr Swamy's three step formula to make India a VishwaGuru again

BJP leader and eminent economist, Dr Subramanian Swamy, invited as a Chief Speaker at a recent webinar of TiE on "Making India Succeed", spoke at length on India's existing challenges and viable solutions to address these challenges. However, Dr Swamy categorically focused on three major areas, which will help to improve India's world status and restore the country's past glory.  These are explained below: Improve the state of Economy Abolish income tax to boost consumption and savings among households. Bring down interest rates on business loans up to the level of 6% p.a for MSMEs. Increase interest rate on FDs to 9% per annum to facilitate higher savings from households.  Build roads to connect all villages with nearby towns. This will improve connectivity, reduce unemployment, increase purchasing power and spur demand. Social Revolution Indians must start believing in themselves as belonging to the same ancestral tree and identify themselves as prod

Pushpendra Kulshrestha - A Congi Mole within BJP?

Lets say that I am a nobody to comment on Pushpendra Kulshrestha (PK), in the same manner, PK has ZERO credibility (he is nobody) to comment on Dr Swamy. PK's track record suggests that he is fair weather friend of current government. PK could very well be a Congi mole disguised as a Hindutva speaker.  And I am truly flabbergasted to see the responses of Hindus. Apart from making videos and giving speeches on Public events, what is PK's contribution towards Hindutva?  Yes we do need warriors to speak in favor of Hindutva, however, it doesn't mean that we will accept anyone or everyone. Unfortunately, now days its like a popularity contest because anyone who speaks at a superficial level manages to get MAX eyeballs.  Due to emergence of these fake warriors, people have lost sight of the real on ground fighters. Just because a public speaker comes across as a Hindutva well-wisher, he may not necessarily be a genuine well-wisher.  However, these speakers, for their

A 41 year old Professor/Politician who independently got Kailash Mansarovar opened for Hindus

After the 1962 war, India-China relationship had hit rock bottom and it remained that way for a period of 15 years. In 1977, Janata Party's victory in LS elections led to improvement in diplomatic relations with China. Dr Swamy's deep knowledge and understanding about China helped PM Morarji Desai to improve these relations.   During the same time, Dr Swamy began to develop a strong yearning to visit 'Kailash Mansarovar' which is the ultimate abode of Lord Shiva and Parvati. However, visiting the most revered holy site for Hindus seemed non-viable because of the following reasons:  Kailash Mansarovar was in China (Tibet), which is a Communist country  As the terrain was tough, infrastructure development on  the site was a challenge May be Mahaperiyava's proximity had ignited a hidden goal of Dr Swamy's life, which was to get Kailash Mansarovar opened for Hindu devotees. Consequently, Dr Swamy began to explore the possibility of reopening the Holy sit
