Income tax and Indirect tax abolition to positively disrupt Indian economy

"The most important thing to do today is to generate enthusiasm. No economy can improve if people feel defeated and become risk-averse. Therefore, we have to bring the positive feeling back by implementing measures that would revive the outlook. The other step that should be taken is increase the savings rate, help people save more, as this would translate into more investment which in turn would boost growth."

-- Dr. Subramanian Swamy

Nearly 35-40 million Indians pay taxes annually; however, only 1% of the total tax payers account for a major chunk of tax collections. For the remaining tax payers, filing returns is a complex process involving extensive paperwork. While skeptics highlight an annual loss of INR 2.47 lakh crores of revenues; they tend to overlook the inherent benefits (monetary as well as non-monetary) that will accrue with such a system. Moreover, the system of zero taxation is also working effectively in nearly 15 other countries around the world.

In case India implements a zero taxation system, then it will trigger several benefits in the economy which will herald a new era of economic development and progress for the country. Some such triggers are further explained below:

Will integrate Black money into mainstream economy
Black money economy is controlled by 3% of India's population; however, it influences 97% of the remaining population. Such a large influence indicates the extent of black money penetration in India's economic system. It also highlights mistrust in the banking system due to implications related to tax obligations. Therefore, many continue to avoid deposits in banks as it might attract tax obligations.

"At least $70-80 billion goes out every year. The cost of India's black economy is 5% of GDP growth sacrificed every year since the mid-70s. But for this, India's size of the economy would have been $9 trillion."

-- Arun Kumar, Professor of Economics at JNU

Income tax abolition will not only increase deposit levels in banks, it will also enhance the transparency of financial transactions. While spurt in deposits will enable banks to fund diverse projects in the private and government sector; transparency in transactions will help in minimizing law and order issues which arise due to black money funding.

Income tax abolition will usher an era of transparency whose trickle down effect will have positive ramifications across each section of the society.

Affordable housing
Majority of real estate transactions involve heavy inflow and outflow of black money as it helps the sellers to avoid capital gains tax. While a regular investor may not make an impact; other investors (criminals, politicians and anti-national elements) leverage this inherent weakness of the sector to park their ill-gotten money. Moreover, investors and their syndicates artificially increase the value of real estate market. This reduces the affordability of residential properties among the regular middle income people. However, greater thrust on bank transactions will burst the real estate bubble and eventually help in the rationalization of real estate prices.

If the government manages to channelize 50% of black money in banks, then black money will gradually lose relevance in real estate transactions.

Inflation will come down
India's taxation system has become intricately complex and comprehensive whose entire purpose is to suck away maximum cash out of the income earning individuals through the route of tax. Apart from income tax, the government charges indirect tax in the form of service tax, education cess, surcharge and excise which inflates the prices of products and services by 35%. In case the government does away with such a system, many citizens will be able to enjoy products and services at drastically low levels. This will augment India's GDP to higher levels and will also help in increasing the per capita income.

Abolition of income tax and other indirect taxes is pure-play economics which will influence India's growth positively and also enable it to become a crime free destination.

Why is Arvind Kejriwal flip-flopping?

Arvind Kejriwal who shot to limelight during Anna's movement has now created his space in Indian politics. He has become the CM of Delhi and is now smartly working towards his next goal of destabilizing India which is the main agenda of his entering Indian politics. While many Delhites, who innocently voted for AAP, see its victory as a victory of anti-corruption, they don't realize that the actual control of Delhi still wrests with Congress -- the party they rejected in Delhi Assembly elections.

Kejriwal's rise highlights the vulnerability of Delhi voters who easily fell for rhetoric and false promises. Quite often, Indians have shown a propensity to choose an option which has led to India's undoing. Trends over the last 66 years indicate that whenever Congress was surrounded by serious corruption charges, it leveraged the weakness of voters to manipulate a confused verdict.

Therefore intentions of Kejriwal are pertinent to understand, given the continuous flip flops in his stand on corruption and alliance partnerships. Even though media loves to portray Kejriwal as a new phenomenon, all Indians must make an effort to understand his actions rather than depending on spoon feeding by media.

Flip Flop 1
The first major flip flop and a serious one was that Kejriwal swore on his kids that he will not form an alliance with BJP OR Congress. The proof is given as below:

Given the evidence above, Kejriwal chose Congress to be his partner despite vehemently refusing to form an alliance. This was a shock to many AAP supporters who thought that AAP will not ally with any corrupt party, especially the most corrupt party in the history of India ever. If transparent governance was the only objective, then AAP could have formed a partnership with BJP on a constructive platform. This is because BJP emerged as the single largest party in Delhi.

But then, Kejriwal & Congress had already planned the entire game for Delhi Assembly elections much before -- only the equation of seats became unexpectedly favorable for AAP in the Delhi elections.

Flip Flop 2
Plenty of evidences from Anna and Ramdev's movement indicate that Arvind Kejriwal portrayed himself as an anti-corruption crusader. For example, Kejriwal proudly targeted Sheila Dixit for her involvement in various corruption scandals such as CWG scam and power scam. Please see below -- Kejriwal openly talked about Sheila Dixit's role in corruption but remember this speech was before Delhi elections:

People who genuinely supported AAP thinking that Kejriwal will bring some positive change must watch the next evidence which clarifies everything about the hidden agenda -- that Kejriwal is only working as per the instructions of Sonia and CIA-led Ford foundation. When Dr. Harshvardhan (BJP) raised the issue of corruption charges against Sheila Dixit; Kejriwal responded like a typical seasoned neta:

In the above video, Kejriwal's body language tells more than his verbal response -- watch his body language when he answered the question on Sheila's corruption.

Other promises such as free water upto 700 litres of consumption and 50% reduction in electricity bills have been fulfilled; however, these promises don't seem to serve any good to the common man -- for example, free water is applicable only to households that have installed a water meter. Households not having meters (primarily in unauthorized colonies) will not get any benefits. During the pre-poll campaigning, Kejriwal never clarified that his promises will accrue with the tag of 'Conditions Apply'.

Kejriwal is fooling Indians openly due to solid backing of CIA, Sonia and Media. Even Congress is trying its best to propel him as the Dynasty is sensing decimation in the upcoming LS elections. Congress' desperation is also visible from the extent of coverage given by MSM to Arvind Kejriwal and AAP. Plenty of evidences also indicate Kejriwal's proximity with anti-national elements such as Tauqueer Reza and Imam Bukhari.

The battle for 2014 is not just another battle between two parties, rather it is a battle between Nationalistic and Anti-Nationalistic forces, with BJP, Akali Dal and Shiv Sena on the nationalistic side and Congress & its bed partners (including AAP) on the anti-nationalistic side. The importance of LS-2014 can not be ignored as its outcome will shape the future of the world for the next 1,000 years.

I request every Indian to make an informed decision when voting for a particular party and do not just fall for any traps that are specifically laid out by anti-national elements.

Communal Violence Bill -- A Congress blueprint to suppress Hindus

Communal Violence Bill is not just a recipe to polarize Muslim and Christian votes in favor of Congress, it is a blueprint to dis-integrate the entire social fabric of India.

Indian National Congress (INC) is an anti-Hindu party whose sole objective is to destroy Hinduism. As Congress is anticipating its decimation in LS-2014, it is attempting every possible means to suppress the Indian majority. One such step is Communal violence bill which the Congress is quite keen to pass before contesting LS elections. When I read the bill, it reminds me the statement of Akbaruddin Owaisi --

"If Indian police doesn't interfere for 15 mins, then we will finish off all the Hindus from India"

It seems that Congress has taken cue from Owaisi's statement and is now trying for complete subjugation of Indian Hindus. Let me also remind that we have a duty to understand CVB completely and oppose it with all our energies unless we are ok with slaughter of our own brethren OR our upcoming Hindu generations. Now more on CVB ...

While everyone will agree that eradication of communal violence is important to maintain law and order in the country; implementing laws that offer unreasonable advantage to minorities will have a reverse effect on the society. The Communal Violence Bill (CVB) will adversely impact the peace and harmony among different religions that exist in our country. This is because the CVB contains many flaws which I have explained below:

Biased and ambiguous definition of the term "Group"
The bill fails to define "Group" in an unambiguous manner - for example, whether religious minority is on the basis of state demographics OR national demographics. For more details, please see the definition below:

As per the definition above, following are the most notable points:
    1. It is not clear whether minorities will be assessed on the basis of the composition of India's population OR composition of state population.
    2. The CVB has placed special provisions that favor Muslims & Christians, however; it lacks similar provisions for the safety of Hindus.
    3. Apart from Muslims and Christians, the bill mentions linguistic minorities which could be a group of Bengalis living in Delhi OR Jats living in Kerala etc. Hence, linguistic minority is clearly made to further divide India on the basis of language and state.
    4. If CVB is drafted on the basis of national demographics, then Hindu minorities in J&K, Nagaland, Mizoram and Meghalaya will be completely ignored.
    Definition of a Victim
Please find below a snapshot of the definition of the Victim as per the CVB:

The above definition comprehensively defines the nature and extent of harm on the victim; however, the definition fails to address its misuse. For more details, please see below:
    1. Physical and monetary harm is understandable but quite honestly, several laws already exist that offer protection to an individual (whether a minority or non-minority) from any kind of physical or monetary harm.
    2. The other two harms – Mental and psychological highlight the cynical mindset of NAC members. It will lead to the following:
      • Any Muslim Or Christian can file a complaint against any person in majority community (Hindus) on the basis of wild imaginations. What if the victim suffers from a mental disease?
      • CVB has quite blatantly ignored the rights of the accused to protect himself and it doesn't even offer the accused an opportunity to put forth his/her defense.
National Authority for Communal Harmony, Justice and Reparation
As per the Bill, the central government will form a body which will be called National Authority for Communal Harmony, Justice and Reparation. The body will be responsible for the implementation and functioning of the CVB across India.

    1. The constitutional body will consist of 7 members
    2. Four minority community members will have a mandatory representation and one member from SC/ST will also form part of the constitutional body.
    3. More importantly, the Chairperson and Vice-chairperson have to be from the minority community only.
    4. All the members, including the Chairperson and Vice-chairperson, will be appointed by President but recommended by the selection committee consisting of PM, leader of opposition in house of people as well as council of states, MHA and chairperson of NHRC.
The composition of the constitutional body clearly signifies that Hindus will be adjudged guilty in case of a complaint by a Muslim or a Christian as it lacks a proper Hindu representation.

Hate Propaganda under the Offences Chapter
The definition of 'Hate Propaganda' takes away Hindus right to "Freedom of Expression" as it clearly mentions that any person who uses the electronic media to even express his views on Islam/Christianity will be considered to be instigating hatred. NAC has purposefully included electronic media to ensure that no Hindu dares to raise his voice against the propaganda of Congress and mainstream media. That no Hindu dares to raise his voice against muslims instigated communal violence. For more details, please see the snapshot below:

Any sane person (whether a secular OR non-secular) will understand that this bill is created to offer a platform to minorities to target Hindus. More so, when muslims have a well known track record of instigating violence against the Hindus. Also, the current trends are explicitly indicating that Muslims are gunning for an Islamic rule in India. The increasing turbulence in our country due to violence in Muzaffarnagar, Assam, Kishtwar (J&K), Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Bihar and AP (Hyderabad blasts) are only indicating that muslims are silently waging a war against Bharat Mata. And the shameless stamp of approval by Congress-led UPA govt. is making the matters worse. It is a no brainer that who will suffer most due to this ill-conceived bill.

Arise, Awake and Stop not until we decimate the evil design of Congress and its allies.

Camouflaged attacks that are subduing Indians

Post India's independence, last 5 years can be attributed as the most turbulent time of our country. Although our country faced number of external and internal challenges in the form of wars, famine and sluggish economy during the last 66 years, but it never was so much vulnerable as it is today. The vulnerability has risen due to the invisible nature of attacks which are not aimed to cause a physical harm but to cause a permanent psychological harm. The primary objective of such attacks is to facilitate willing submission of Indians to vested interests.

While forms of such external attacks are subtle, they have been consistently reinforced on millions of Indian minds to effect the required changes in the thought processes. Such consistent reinforcements have gradually led the Indians to believe in farce reality. As a result, many of our fellow citizens are unable to accept that India is under threat from such forces.

Understanding the nature of attacks and their form is important to accept the gravity of the situation. Therefore, I will first delve into the details of such attacks:

    High scale conversion activities
The conversion of Hindus into other religions namely Islam and Christianity is continuing at an unabated pace -- more so due to the tacit support of the Sonia (christian) led Congress government. Many of the Indians are still unaware of this issue OR are pretending to have closed their eyes towards it. Conversion is big business because of the extent of poverty that exists in our country. The Pope and Maulvis exploit the minds of common people primarily through inducement tactics which could be in the form of monetary support and other perks. Our Indian government is also providing formidable support to these anti-national activities through subtle methods like reservations. Please find below some more notable points:
    1. The Pope of Vatican has openly criticized the anti-conversion laws existing in India.
    2. Monetary inducements: The religious groups are spending big in order to get more Indians under the fold of Christianity OR Islam.
    3. Government Support: Central government and some of the state governments are supporting conversion activities either tacitly or openly. For example, Andhra Pradesh's state government has specially created a website for the promotion of Christianity. This is nothing but blatant misuse of Secularism in our country. On the other hand, the central government is in a hurry to introduce Communal Violence Bill which is a sure shot recipe for communal violence.
    4. Dalits, SC/ST and below poverty line people are the most vulnerable section for conversion
    5. Indian Missions Association has laid out a target of reaching around a billion Indians across different sections (Elite, middle & poor) for conversion purposes.
    6. The Islamists are using different techniques such as love jihad, terrorism and misrepresentation of facts to convert Hindus to Islam. For example, one of the so-called Islamic leader -- Dr. Zakir Naik has been selectively quoting some verses from our vedic scripture for propagating Islam.
    Migration of Bangladeshis
As per government estimates, the total number of Bangladeshis were between 15 million to 20 million in 2007. Moreover, it is an accepted fact that Bangladeshi population increased by 50% during the last 6 years which signifies that the current Bangladeshi population is anywhere around 30 million in India. Such a high migrant population should ring alarm bells in the ears of our current leadership but they have been blind and deaf to the ground realities for quite some time. Some half intellectuals ask why is migration of Bangladeshis such a big issue? Well they should know that Bangladeshis are not in India for the love of India -- they are here because they were unemployed in their home country. Hence, the bottom line for many of them is money and the means to earn it is immaterial.

Moreover, India based Bangladeshis have been given a long rope due to the appeasement politics of Congress. This has only resulted in higher number of fake currencies and false representation of migrants as Indian citizens on the basis of fake Indian documents. India has also provided the migrants an opportunity to touch base with fundamentalist elements in Pakistan which is resulting in organized terrorism.

    Islamization of Kerala and Assam
Everyone knows about the Kashmir issue but many fail to understand that attempts are being made to replicate Kashmir situation in other Indian states such as Kerala and Assam. In Kerala, Islamic radicals have increased the intensity of their attacks on other communities through different strategies -- for example, the muslim youth is  using love jihad to bring more people under the umbrella of Islam. In 2010, VS Achuthanandan (ex-CM of Kerala) stated that Kerala will be Islamized in next 20 years. Indian Union Muslim League (IUML), one of the coalition partners of the present Kerala government, is openly influencing youth of other religions to marry Muslim girls and produce kids by offering them money. Tadiyantavide Nazeer, the LeT chief of South India, has claimed that IUML is working as per a plan which targets complete Islamization of Kerala by 2050.

Several other Islam related trends highlight the growing radicalization of muslim youth in Kerala. Moreover, IUML is using arm-twisting tactics to blackmail Kerala's state government because the muslim party is an important part of the coalition.

    Education in Schools and Colleges
The quality and content of school & college education is important because it shapes the supple minds of young ones. If the kids are imparted adulterated knowledge, then it leads to the creation of false perceptions about India's past. It is this false perception that forms the basis of flawed thought processes for the entire life time of a human being. As a result, such a child, when grows up to be an adult, finds it extremely difficult to believe the other version of the history which may be the Truth.

For example, too much importance given to the Mughal rulers in comparison to true Dharma fighters such as Shivaji and Maharana Pratap has enabled the Indians to form a benevolent view of the Mughals even though they were tyrants. Simultaneously, the conspicuous ignorance of Indians on the valour of warriors like Shivaji and Maharana Pratap has only created a sense of inferiority amongst them.

Media's subtle control of Indian minds
A number of urban Indians fail to understand that mainstream media (MSM) is not an army of robots -- it also consists of humans whose actions will be a function of their own weaknesses. As a result, the politically and monetarily powerful people are easily able to fulfill their own ends by exploiting the weaknesses of media people. This is also evident in the quality of news that MSM has been transmitting to its audience. For example, many MSM channels have pre-dominantly become mouthpieces of political parties like Congress. Their consistent and stubborn effort to cover selective news items which are favorable for the ruling party but unfavorable to the opposition has created dents in the minds of many.

Moreover, our MSM also seems to be quite flexible in broadcasting information that pleases the vested interests in Western countries, for example, excessive coverage on gay rights, minority appeasement and limited coverage on other potent national issues is deplorable.

    Cricket
If half of the cricket watching population dedicates its time elsewhere in a productive manner, then India will become a developed country due to the increase in productivity hours. Apart from productivity loss, Cricket has also become a lucrative investment option for Mafias and drug lords which further increases corruption in our country. For example, IPL has become a well known annual event for drug parties, betting, spot-fixing and prostitution. The event needs to be managed more cautiously because it invites a number of foreigners who may as well be spy agents from specific countries which is a clear cut threat to India's security.

    Bollywood
The underworld controls the content of Bollywood movies through the financing route. Its influence is evident from the fact that many of our movies focus on the glamorization of crime on a back drop of love affairs. Also, one should not forget Abu Salem (well known terrorist) and Monica Bedi who were in limelight a decade ago. While Salem is still in jail, Ms Bedi has been let off on humanitarian grounds.

One must also understand that Dawood is influencing the mindset of every Indian through consistent presentation of crime intensive, soft porn and romantic movies. This strategy has also misled many to harbor feelings of sympathy towards criminals which is indicative of societal degradation.

Why should we reject the idea of AAP?

If you can't win, then spoil BJP's victory by allowing a cheap 3rd grade party to contest elections.

This is not Dirty Tricks but OLD Congress strategy

Arvind Kejriwal formed Aam Admi Party (AAP) to introduce corruption free governance in India; however, his party seems to be faltering even before achieving any victory. On the face, it seems that these are mere accusations but a deeper insight indicates that Kejriwal's political journey is loaded with lies. It also tells us that Mr. Kejriwal is offering nothing but a slightly refined version of BSP and SP in Delhi. If that is the case, then we (the common citizens) should reject AAP from the very beginning.

Just recently, Mr. Kejriwal also had to confront some genuine questions against the functioning of his party which he completely failed to address. Given that AAP is a new party, Mr. Kejriwal should take extra care in setting an example; however, his attitude signifies that AAP was never formed to offer transparent governance.

Understanding the inner workings and intentions of AAP and Mr. Kejriwal is also important because it will help us to form a 360 degree view of AAP. Keeping this in mind, the following are some of the points that every voter must ponder upon before voting for AAP:

Anna Hazare and Kiran Bedi rejected AAP
Anna Hazare and Kiran Bedi never became part of AAP. Why? Because, they felt that adding a political dimension will reduce the relevance of a civil society based anti-corruption movement. Moreover, Anna and Kiran Bedi had a better understanding of the internal dynamics of IAC's anti-corruption team which enabled them to reject the formation of a political front.

Anna and Kiran were also the most honest and clean leaders of the anti-corruption movement. Without them, AAP looks more like a typical power hungry party which is willing to perform any cheap stunt for winning more votes.

    Kejriwal  The most Honest Leader
Mr. Kejriwal loves to portray himself as the savior of common man; however, plenty of loopholes can be identified in his own conduct which indicate that his honesty is simply a facade. AAP has used aggressive perception management techniques to maintain its reputation of being a transparent and anti-corruption party  for example, Internal Lokpal, List of donors on website etc. These are farce attempts to fool the gullible public because since its formation, AAP has not punished a single person through Internal Lokpal. Also, AAP categorically declares that it will not take Suo Moto action against its own party members but establish an inquiry only if someone files a complaint. Obviously, AAP lacks the intent to deliver transparent governance because the party was never serious about it.

Going forward, the questions below are specific to Mr. Arvind Kejriwal who is so fond of beating the "Most Honest" drum:
    1. Why was Mr. Kejriwal never never transferred out of Delhi during 15 years of his service?
    2. Why were SIM cards issued in Anna's name due to which Anna became an accused in the SIM card scam?
    3. Why were the funds collected in the anti-corruption movement misused? If the funds were not misused, then why is Anna questioning the improper utilization of such funds?
    4. Why have the Pakistani Islamists launched an online donation campaign for AAP?
    5. Why Anna's name was used for campaigning in Delhi Assembly when you had already refused using his name?
    6. How come Mr. Kejriwal has three voter IDs from Sahibabad, New Delhi and Seemapuri?
    7. Why were you so much willing to make Anna a martyr when he was fasting in the anti-corruption movement?
    8. Why did Mr. Kejriwal end his fast until death midway?
    IT Commissioner
Mr. Kejriwal stressed many times that he would have earned crores had he continued as an IT commissioner. This is simply an attempt to highlight his sacrifice which is in sync with media's portrayal of Sonia Gandhi as a sacrificial goddess after 2004 elections. However, the public should not be fooled by such theatrics because these attempts are only symbolic in nature which only misguide public on an emotional plane. Therefore, the common man should assess Kejriwal on the following basis:
    1. Whether Mr. Kejriwal really worked as an IT commissioner during his tenure at Indian Revenue Services (IRS)? The answer is NO, Kejriwal never worked as an IT commissioner The IRS has denied his claim. In my honest opinion, this in itself is a sufficient reason to reject Mr. Kejriwal.
    2. While giving such a statement, Mr. Kejriwal branded every IRS officer as a corrupt person and also maligned the image of IRS.
    AAP & Secularism
Since its formation, AAP has taken a position that is similar to Congress' stand on secularism. In fact, the party has gone a step further to appease the minorities. It has openly supported separation of Kashmir from India (Prashant Bhushan), called Batla encounter fake and also met controversial Muslim leaders like Tauqeer Raza who issued Fatwas against Tasleema Nasreem and George Bush (Ex-President of US). Mr. Kejriwal has also been frequently seen with Imam Bukhari who is quite well known for supporting Islamic rule in India.

AAP is treading on a dangerous path of pseudo-secularism which is harmful for the majority and is against national interests. I would not be shy to call AAP an anti-national party.

    Sting Operation
Just recently, a sting operation exposed serious gaps in the internal governance of AAP. It showed prominent and senior party members such as Shazia Ilmi, Dr. Kumar Vishwas and others willingness to sell a seat for INR 2 crores. This is an eye opener for those who think that Kejriwal is in politics for some noble cause.

Kejriwal's political acumen is no less than that of Digvijay OR Manish Tiwari  rather he is just more refined due to his educational qualification.

    High Decibel sounds
With all the hoopla that surrounds AAP regarding its anti-corruption stand, Kejriwal doesn't really have an impressive on field governance track record. He has only made high decibel sounds that lacked follow up through concrete field work. Given the evidence of corruption in Robert Wadhera land deals, Kejriwal could have easily filed a PIL. However, Kejriwal is more keen on a short-cut route which will obviously adversely influence AAP's anti-corruption stand.

Lack of experience in delivering results through concrete on field activism highlights Mr. Kejriwal's intent to eradicate corruption.

    The Lokpal Bluff
Most of the AAP leaders sell on implementing Lokpal to bring transparent governance; however, this is nothing but a white lie. AAP cannot implement lokpal because Delhi is a Union Territory (UT) in which case Parliament approval is a must.

    Weakens our democracy
Let's be practical about it, AAP has no chance of a clean majority in Delhi. If AAP gets a chance to play a role of kingmaker, then the following 3 outcomes will be possible:

    Alliance with Congress
This will be the most likely situation because of the inherent ideological similarities between AAP and Congress for example, Pseudo Secularism and pro-jihadi stand.

    Neutral
This will only result in loss of time, energy and money for the Delhi citizens AND it will be a great injustice to the institute of democracy.

    Alliance with BJP
This is highly unlikely because of the ideological differences between AAP and BJP. Moreover, BJP would not prefer to align with AAP primarily because of latter's controversial stand on Batla encounter and meetings with leaders such as Imam Bukhari and Tauqir Raza.

Your vote to AAP is a vote to Congress and it seriously damages the future of Delhi. In nutshell, Delhi citizens will be deprived of a fresh positive change only because of the nefarious agenda of Congress and AAP.

Ugly face of India's Mainstream Media (MSM)

Media and Ethics in India are inversely proportional because nowdays you will rarely find media to perform a true, investigative and fair role in broadcasting news. No doubt it has become the most fertile ground to run propagandas for political parties and large business houses. Money is the underlying motivation to showcase news that favor selective clients.

Media is playing a role of a "Pure-play Mercenary" whose only objective is revenue maximization through any means i.e. ethical or unethical. Since, these pure-play media mercenaries are prone to adopt unethical methods of revenue maximization, the Congress and Communists are their natural allies. However, the Congress has taken complete control over these media houses. Under such circumstances, how can the public expect that the news on media channels are not unbiased.

While most of the businesses follow Organic or Inorganic growth strategies to increase their market share and influence, Indian media adopts the Dynastic growth to achieve the same objective at a higher pace.

A Dynastic growth is the most efficient because it allows businesses to go full throttle towards profit maximization. The following are the major characteristics of this strategy:
    1. Favor the dynasty in return for undue favorsIndian media pleases the Dynasty in a simple but highly effective manner given as below:
      • Target enemies of Dynasty: Persistently hound celebrities or personalities that have the capability to challenge the Dynasty OR its pervert agenda. Fabricate stories and run false propagandas to defame such powerful personalities. Perform the roles of investigating agencies, judiciary and other relevant committees AND then pass the judgement, final sentence and ultimate lessons from the case during 30 minute prime time debates. Indian media leverages wealth of its resources to harass prominent personalities and also to influence the perception of the common man. People such as Nitin Gadkari, Swamy Nityanand, Asaram Bapu and Swamy Ramdev have been under the line of fire of media.
      • Ignore/Justify the faults of Dynasty: Ignore the wrongs and scream on top of the voices for any little good done by Dynasty. This has been the mantra for survival, fame and growth amongst the media guys. Till date, the media has not had the courage to name the major culprits of various scams in UPA-II for example, Sonia, Raul, Bianca and Sonia's Italian sisters. These people have enjoyed maximum benefits at at the cost of taxpayers money.
    2. The undue favors is a license to adopt Ignoble methods to further increase growth
    3. Ignoble methods include Blackmailing, Sting Operations, Driving popularity of new & favorable laws, Supply of Liquor & Drugs, Women exploitation and Targeting opponents on false charges.
Media's blatant use of the Dynastic politics has helped them to wield considerable influence over people's perception across the country.

However, mainstream media's current way of functioning has caused significant mess in India's political, administrative and economic eco-system. It has given vertical as well as horizontal push to the black money economy and corruption. Media has transformed unorganized corruption into organized corruption.

Clearly, the transformation has caused a lot of anguish and frustration amongst the youth of the country. This is because India's youth refuses to be enamored by the Gandhis in exchange of accepting corruption as a way of life. The youth demands performance, transparency, development and equality for each Indian. Congress, during its 60 years of rule, has failed miserably to offer sustainable solutions in these areas. In spite of the failure in governance, our media still blindly favors the Gandhis.

Nonetheless, the common man is now beginning to understand the difference between ideal and actual role of mainstream media. As a result, many youngsters (within the bracket of 18-35) have begun to voice their opinions on parallel channels like Social Media. This has somewhat restrained media to go full throttle, nonetheless, it's inclination towards the Dynasty is quite visible. The following are some of the examples that highlight the "not so neutral" side of Indian media:
    1. National Herald Scam: Rahul and Sonia are the main beneficiaries and the evidence of their involvement is crystal clear. The scam enabled the Gandhis to loot National Herald's property worth INR 2000 crores in return of a petty loan worth INR 90 crores. The major parties involved are given below:
      1. National Herald - A newspaper which was closed in 2008 due to financial crisis
      2. Associated Journals Ltd - The publishers of National Herald
      3. Young Indian - A trust company formed in 2010 with Rahul & Sonia havings 76% shareholding
      4. Congress Party
    2. 2G spectrum: A. Raja was shown and declared as the major culprit; however, others such as Chidambram, Sonia and her sisters were the major beneficiaries who were deliberately kept out of the media focus.
    3. Thorium Scam: Thorium is a highly powerful material that can be used in nuclear reactors with very less adverse affects. Initially, export of Thorium was not possible because it was a prescribed substance under the Atomic Energy Act. However, our PM Dr. Manmohan Singh delisted this product in order to allow its export to foreign countries, particularly USA. Thorium is India's great Oil discovery, then why our Indian media is silent on highlighting this scam to general public?
    4. CWG Scam: Kalmadi was made the scapegoat for the entire scam but other prominent leaders like Shiela Dikshit and Sandeep Dikshit were also involved. The cuts of the scam went right up to the top of the pyramid but Media simply did not show any spine in getting hold of the main culprits.
Media continues to ignore plenty of other issues because it helps them to make Super-normal profits. For example, the media has not made any effort to highlight the injustice done to Sukanya Devi who was raped by Rahul Gandhi and his foreign friends in Amethi. The Robert Vadra land scams were on the news channels only for couple of days and then went off. Dynasty's close connections are also let off by the media, for example, Tarun Tejpal 's rape of a 22 year old girl who worked as an employee of Tehelka.

The media has not shown the same passion and intensity in following up with cases that involved the Dynasty.

Compare this with other news such as that of Bapu Asaram whose not been proved guilty but he has already been adjudged as a culprit. Nitin Gadkari was hounded 24/7 for allowing his employees to be the director but nothing came out of the scam and nothing was proved. Recently, the Uttarakhand government has filed 81 cases against Baba Ramdev to not only harass, blackmail and defame him but to shut his voice against Dynasty.

In other cases, particularly in relation to Dynasty's opponents, our mainstream media has put in 500% effort to create smoke out of thin air.

Given the facts, the mainstream media needs to change its course, that is, switch from a Dynastic to a Dynamic-Democratic system wherein it allows the voice of common people to be heard across the country. The media also needs to be more accountable towards the quality and factual correctness of news it is reporting. If media fails to take these steps, then it risks losing its relevance completely.

    Sanskrit as India's National Language

    सरस्वति महाभागे विद्ये कमललोचने।
    विद्यारूपे विशालाक्षि विद्यां देहि नमोऽस्तु ते॥

Oh Great Goddess Sarasvati! The embodiment of knowledge!
One with broad eyes beautiful like lotus petals! Learning Solidified!
My salutations to you. Grant me the knowledge.

Sanskrit is the fountainhead of all languages on earth that is why Sanskrit is popularly known as the mother of all languages. The word Sanskrit indicates perfection as explained below:
    1. Sanskrit = Sam + Krit
    2. Sam means entirely, wholly OR perfectly; AND
    3. Krit means done
When we add Sam and Krit, we get Sanskrit which means 'perfectly done'. All our scriptures namely the Vedas, Upanishads and Puranas were originally written in Sanskrit which highlights its relevance.

In ancient times, Sanskrit was the preferred mode of communication amongst rishis as well as the common man. During those times, our ancestors used Sanskrit in every field for example, trade, education, research & development and administration. India's glorious past also coincides with a time when Sanskrit was the most dominant language. Sanskrit's original structure and form is still available and prevalent in some parts of India.

It would be naive to underestimate the utility and potential of Sanskrit as many scientists, linguists, and scholars study Vedas and Upanishads in the present times. Sanskrit has been gaining traction due to its practical applicability across different fields such as computer science, energy, nano technology and space programs.

Sanskrit may have been ignored but it is far from being dead. On the contrary, Sanskrit is reviving all over the world and will soon become the most dominant language.

I would like to highlight the following reasons for declaring Sanskrit as India's national language. They are given below:

    Sanskrit is a Scientific Language
In 1985, Rick Briggs, who worked at NASA Ames Research Center, highlighted the suitability of Sanskrit as a perfect language for artificial intelligence. He compared Sanskrit with English and proved that a Sanskrit sentence rendered into triples matches precisely with the analysis achieved through application of computer processing. Through a series of tests and analysis, the author proved that Sanskrit is the most specific and unambiguous language and hence apt for computer programming.

The westerners will not openly admit the supremacy of Sanskrit; however, they are gradually realizing its advantages.

Don't be surprised if you witness Western Sanskrit scholars visiting India to teach Sanskrit. Such a trend is already visible in other areas such as Yoga and ISKCON.

    National Identity and Unity
Sanskrit has the ability to unify people across different states of India. The South Indian languages such as Tamil, Malyalam, Telugu, and Kannada are very similar to Sanskrit. In North India, majority of Indians are comfortable with Hindi which is also a subset of Sanskrit. Adoption of Sanskrit as the national language will effectively unite the different chords of our culture whether in North, South, East OR West. Sanskrit will stimulate a sense of nationalism in our country which will also nurture unity.

India, under the umbrella of unity, will be able to withstand different foreign attacks that may be targeted on our culture, business and religion.

    Ocean of Knowledge
It is a given fact that vast knowledge exists in our scriptures such as Vedas and Upanishads. Our scriptures cover almost every topic that is relevant as per the current times  for example, science, literature, poetry, law, economy, philosophy, religion, defense and others. While translations of these scriptures exist, they are not able to convey the same meaning as provided in the original. Therefore, Sanskrit is the key to access, analyse and utilize this knowledge.

Sanskrit is the bridge through which these oceans of knowledge can be crossed, understood and applied for the welfare of the mankind.

    Connect with Culture
Sanskrit will help Indians to connect with India's ancient culture and traditions which will influence our thought, speech and actions in a positive manner. Nation wide adoption of Sanskrit will help India to regain its identity thereby bringing in revolutionary changes in the mindset of every person of the country. Sanskrit will help Indians to transform, evolve and change to become true Hindus. Consequently, one can expect the Hindus to rise and fight for justice, women safety, gender equality, transparent administration and crime reduction.

Sanskrit will transform passive Hindus (those disconnected from their roots due to the influence of Britishers and Muslims) into active Virat Hindus.

    Government's role
Our government has failed to leverage the hidden treasures of our scriptures; however, it has been quite pliant towards western culture. Lack of efforts towards understanding our culture has only helped the West to dominate at global level. It has helped Islam to dominate on the basis of oil reserves and not due to any significant scientific achievement. West has borrowed Indian concepts, applied them in their laboratories and then achieved favorable results due to continuous support from their governments. They have re-packaged the already existing scientific discoveries and created products that are acceptable to masses. Obviously, they were smart enough to pocket nice and handsome profits from such ventures.

Whereas, India which is the original source of all knowledge still continues to languish in business, science & technology and political dominance at global level. This equation needs to be re-balanced in order to rectify the wrongs committed on India.

India's time to lead, secure and enlighten the world is long overdue; however, many times it has fallen short of its true potential. The change is possible provided we elect leaders who display Will power, Imagination and Courage through their actions.

In the end, I would like to conclude by the following couplets:

    "Sanskrit is the mother,
    Sanskrit is the root,
    Sanskrit is the future,
Sanskrit is the soul of India"

    – Gaurav Bhatia
