In one of the VHS programs, Words of Wisdom, Dr. Swamy stated that Aditya Thackeray may have had flings but his chances of being part of SSR murder are remote. This single statement of Dr. Swamy has been blown out of proportion to spread rumors having no basis. One must understand that Dr. Swamy is a constitutionalist and won't give in to rumor-mongering based on public perceptions. Moreover, the court of law works based on facts & evidence and not due to likes, dislikes, or preferences of the general public. Therefore, from a legal standpoint, Dr. Subramanian Swamy took the most appropriate stand on Aditya Thackerey. After Sushant Singh Rajput's murder, none of the political leaders from BJP and Congress were willing to take a stand. Only Dr. Subramanian Swamy came to the rescue of SSR fans.  The seasoned professor/politician promised CBI inquiry for SSR, which was duly achieved after a persistent social media campaign and a phone conversation between Dr. Swamy

In May 2020, India and China faced the worst ever military face-off at Galwan Valley, Hot springs, Gogra and Pangong  region in Ladakh. Since India's independence, the Church has directly or indirectly influenced the electoral process in our country. During hey days of Congress, Church's role was relatively subtle in comparison to its present day involvement. It seems  BJP's  recent electoral successes have ruffled the ministries of Church.  Without doubt, the rise in public outcry by Church over threat to secularism and random acts of vandalism stems from growing influence of Hindutva in India. Maldives, a small island nation in the southwest of India and Sri Lanka, consists of 1,200 islands and is spread over 35,000 square miles in Arabian sea. The island country witnessed fresh wind of change when political reformer, Mohammad Nasheed, won elections in 2008.  However, China's growing influence in Maldives led to the ouster of Nasheed in 2012. Later in 2013, Abdallah Yameen took control of Maldives government through Chinese support. Under Yameen's leadership, Maldives began to develop closer ties with China and Saudi Arabia. According to Sanatan Dharma, since time immemorial, whenever the world witnesses degradation of culture, in terms of morals and values, Bhagwan Vishnu takes birth in human form or any other living form. Minority institutions across India receive grants from government and channelize a large percentage of these funds for the welfare and benefits of minorities such as Christians, Muslims, Jains, Parasis etc. Such inconsistencies rip-off the right of hard-working and meritorious hindu students to receive benefits of better education from these institutes. Despite having a meritorious record, majority Hindu students are left out from these educational institutions only because of their religious background.  With 50% of the seats reserved for minorities, general category Hindu students have to fight for remaining seats. This is the prevalent trend among so called prestigious minority colleges such as St Stephens, St Xaviers, Jesus & Mary College, Loyola College etc. In a recent tweet, Dr Swamy highlighted St Stephens case to prove the disparities in the system. The tweet calls for a re-look at the existing education system with the purpose of introducing further reforms. 

BJP government has come up with a new education policy (NEP), which is being lauded across different sections of society. NEP 2020 has replaced 34 year old National Policy on Education, framed in 1986.  Although seen as a mixed bag by educationists, NEP does cover certain aspects that will be game changer in the long run. For example, inclusion of pre-schooling years in the school structure, mother tongue as a medium of instruction up to Class V and increasing government spend on education to 6% of GDP are some path breaking reforms. On the flip side, making higher education institutes as multi-disciplinary centres of learning could adversely impact the specialized identity of engineering and technical colleges.
