Dr. Subramanian Swamy - A note on his achievements

This article is dedicated to Dr. Subramanian Swamy whose hard work and perseverance has inspired the hearts of millions of Hindus and who continues to fight this war to save the ancient Indian culture.  While it is natural for a Congress supporter to oppose Dr. Swamy on whatever pretexts, I have also seen some patriots getting confused about the intentions of Dr. Swamy. Such confusions could be attributed to following: False knowledge: This normally happens when you give weightage to media cooked stories OR perceptions of a biased person (a person whose thought frequency is incongruent with India's interests). Half knowledge: This happens when you are attracted towards the efforts of Dr. Swamy and try to understand his life; however, during the mid-way you become too lazy to understand his efforts in entirety.  In order to clear the  Congress and media  haze that surrounds Dr. Swamy, please find below details of his achievements in India's context: 2...

Hanuman's Story

JAI BAJRANG BALI Lord Hanuman, an avatar of Lord Shiva, is one of the main protagonists of Ramayana. He took birth to help Lord Sri Ram for re-establishing the dominance of good over evil. As Hanuman was born with gifted talents, his powers and siddhis were visible from the day one of his birth.  He was son of Devi Anjana and Vanar king Kesari who were no ordinary beings. While Kesari was the chief of Vanara army of Sugriva, Devi Anjana was an apsara in her previous birth. Since Lord Vaayu helped Devi Anjana to eat the divine pudding that led to Hanuman's birth, he became the Godfather of Lord Hanuman. At the time of Hanuman's birth, Sri Ram also arrived on earth along with his brothers. Lord Hanuman's natural capability to protect the downtrodden, help the needy and acquire knowledge of vedas was evident from early childhood. However Lord Hanuman was quite mischievous as a child and he did annoy a lot of sages through his naughty acts.  Consequently various sag...

The Argumentative Secular

I have had a lot of interactions with my fellow Indians from different backgrounds. Besides the small talk and other stuff, most of the times I have ended up discussing the political situation of our country. While I do see that a common Indian is gradually waking up to the crimes committed by Congress, I still feel that he is quite reluctant to accept the inherent flaws in his support for Congress. Given the extent of my conversations, I can classify these congress supporters into the following categories:  Half Patriots Seculars : These people feel for the motherland however, they do not have the courage to raise their voice openly. One common trait in them is cowardice because they are scared to accept that Congress is a partner of Islam in its undeclared war on India. Due to this cowardice, these half patriots hide in the Burqa of Secularism. And no other party except congress symbolizes cowardice and pseudo secularism perfectly - hence, the support. Consequently, thes...

Hindus suffering continues in SP ruled Uttar Pradesh

The recent chain of events that have taken place in Muzaffarnagar and other parts of UP indicate disturbing emerging trends in UP's societal landscape. The events clearly highlight that the so-called minority community (muslims) is not so secular in places where it is in majority or where it is even 30-40% of the total population.  According to an MHA report on communal riots and crime against women , the state of UP witnessed the maximum number of such riots (104) in comparison to other Indian states during 2012. This is an alarming trend, which if not restrained, could result in further escalation of the conflict between Hindus and muslims. Recent events in UP have further increased tensions between Hindus and muslims which highlight the existence of a strong undercurrent. Eve-teasing and rape of Hindu girls have been the root cause for these clashes (which clearly indicates the application of Love Jihad and Rape techniques to bring the Hindu women under muslim control...

Rape - An outcome of a Sick Society

Rapes have become a widespread phenomenon in India. Quite often, we hear of rape news from different cities, towns and villages of our country. While the government and administration has certainly failed to provide a safe environment to the citizens, we (as Indian citizens) have also not actively participated in creating a secure and safe environment in the country. Government's attitude is apathetic (no doubt) but we are also more or less in the same league.  The fact that many passersby did not even act after seeing a girl (lying near a road in unbearable pain), who was brutally raped and thrown out of a moving bus, only indicates the extent of self-centered abyss that we have fallen into. The fact that those on Police duty, on that fateful night, argued with each other regarding the jurisdiction area of the crime only indicates their lack of sense for humanity (leave alone the country). And even after Delhi gang rape, we as a society have created a new low in Mumbai.  ...

Solutions to the Kashmir problem

The Kashmir problem is predominantly an issue that has been created by Pakistan; however, it has magnified over the last few years due to the policy paralysis at the Center and State levels. The Indian government continues to commit errors in resolving the Kashmir issue and this has also led the people of Kashmir to set wrong aspirations. While tackling the Kashmir issue, inside-outside strategy will need to be adopted wherein the government needs to focus on two main challenges viz., internal and external. The medicine for each challenge will be different; however, the cure will be the same.  In this article, we will first discuss various possible solutions that can help us to resolve the internal issues and then, we will move on to the external challenges. Resolving Internal Issues Although solution to Kashmir problem is highly improbable under the current leadership, it is not impossible if we have strong-willed leaders at the centre and state level. Nonetheless, I ...

Know your famous media people

What you should know about Indian Media: Hindustan Times – Shobhna Bhartia , owner and editor-in-chief of Hindustan Times is a Congress MP from Rajya Sabha. Vinod Sharma, HT Political Affairs editor , is essentially a Congress spokesman on all TV panel discussions, because once his boss’ term gets over, he will be looking out for her RS seat next :-) Barkha Dutt and Vir Sanghvi , famous Congress stooges (and intermediaries for UPA allies) who were exposed in the Radiagate scandal, and are virtual Congress spokespersons in their capacities as electronic media personalities, are the ones who write opinion and op-ed columns most frequently (once every week) on the editorial pages of HT. In return, Barkha and Sanghvi are rewarded with Padma Shris and other monetary compensation by the Nehru dynasty or Congress party. NDTV’s promoters are Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy . Radhika’s sister Brinda Karat is a famous CPM leader (well known for anti-Baba Ramdev views) and Brinda’s husband Pr...
