Rajiv Gandhi Foundation scam was first exposed by Dr Swamy in 2015

In 2015, Dr Swamy had filed a complaint with Urban Development Ministry regarding RGF's illegal occupation of a building at Raisana road. The building was initially meant to be used as Congress headquarters, however, in 1991, Rajiv Gandhi Foundation, headed by Sonia Gandhi, usurped this prime property located in Delhi.

Dr Swamy also uncovered the financial discrepancies and dubious funding pattern of RGF. For example, RGF's shady sources of donations (foreign embassies and Zakir Naik) were highlighted many times by Dr Swamy.

Zakir Naik, known for his provocative and communal speeches, was brainwashing peaceful elements through his channel, PeaceTV. Only after Dhaka Cafe blast, the government woke up to reality and then banned his channel. However, Dr Swamy had already exposed Zakir Naik's ₹50 lakh donation to RGF in 2011, which is now even confirmed by ED's investigations.

RGF has also received donations from foreign embassies (like China) for a long period of time. These devastating realities of Rajiv Gandhi Foundation were exposed by Dr Subramanian Swamy way back in 2015 and then 2016. Surprisingly, BJP government did not deem it necessary to probe the activities of RGF.

Following collage provides details of Dr Swamy's Tweets from 2015 till 2020, where he has constantly warned about RGF's suspicious activities.

It is now proved that Dr Swamy is the original whistle blower of RGF scam and in BJP's moment of distress, his exposure has somewhat rescued the party from the current mess. How else, could BJP divert public attention from it's failure to control Covid-19 spread and the goof-up in its foreign policy with China?

Without doubt, BJP's policy has been to drum beat against Congress scams, which will help the party to dodge serious questions regarding it's failures. Five years have passed since Dr Swamy exposed Rajiv Gandhi Foundation scam, however BJP only woke up now??

While the government has set up an inter-ministerial committee to investigate the RGF matter, BJP's track record suggests that real action still looks like a daydream.

Dr Swamy's heroic fight against Emergency for democracy!!

On 25th Jun 1975, Indira Gandhi declared the emergency to suppress the growing voices of opposition. Several Jan Sangh stalwarts such as JP, Morarji Desai, Nanaji Deshmukh and Ashok Mehta were arrested. On that fateful night, JP, while having dinner with Dr Swamy, sounded alarm bells about a possible military rule. Dr Swamy, in his usual style, remained calm and composed.  However, JP’s premonition turned out to be true. After returning home, Dr Swamy was tipped off by an unknown police officer about his imminent arrest in the early morning hours. Dr Swamy was quick to react and left his residence to some other place in Delhi, where he could hideout.  After staying for two days at a friend’s house, Dr Swamy shifted to Rajinder Nagar to stay along with Nanaji Deshmukh till August 25, 1975. Meanwhile, senior Jan Sangh leaders such as JP Narayan and Morarji Desai were arrested and sentenced to solitary confinement with complete disregard for their age (late 70s). To make matters ...

Dr. Subramanian Swamy's contributions in 1991 economic reforms

Dr. Subramanian Swamy's contributions to India's 1991 economic reforms deserve a closer look, especially for their intellectual and strategic depth at a time of national crisis. His efforts laid critical ground w ork, for enabling India' s economic growth. In 1990-91, India was on the brink of economic collapse. Foreign exchange reserves had dwindled to a mere $1 billion, barely enough to cover two weeks of imports. The Gulf War exacerbated the situation, with rising oil prices and the loss of remittances from Indian workers in the Middle East. As Minister of Commerce and Law in the Chandra Shekhar government , Dr. Swamy was thrust into this maelstrom. Recognizing the urgency, he drafted a comprehensive reform blueprint that included deregulation, dismantling the license raj , and opening up to foreign investment —ideas that were radical for a country steeped in decades of socialist policies.  Dr. Swamy's foresight was evident in his ability to connect immediate crisis...

Dr Swamy's three step formula to make India a VishwaGuru again

BJP leader and eminent economist, Dr Subramanian Swamy, invited as a Chief Speaker at a recent webinar of TiE on "Making India Succeed", spoke at length on India's existing challenges and viable solutions to address these challenges. However, Dr Swamy categorically focused on three major areas, which will help to improve India's world status and restore the country's past glory.  These are explained below: Improve the state of Economy Abolish income tax to boost consumption and savings among households.
